PlumHome dashboard

The family home is more live, navigable, and resilient throughout the day.

  • New

Added shareable tab links for Watch, Request, Help, and More, with browser back and forward navigation that behaves like a normal website.

  • Improved

Refreshes private dashboard data every two minutes while PlumHome is visible and immediately after returning to the app.

  • Fixed

Expired PlumStream sessions now return to sign-in with a clear explanation instead of leaving a stale or broken dashboard.

  • New

Added per-service health for PlumHome, PlumStream, PlumRequests, and PlumSupport while keeping implementation details private.

  • Improved

Continue Watching and Recently Added cards now open the selected title directly in PlumStream.

  • Improved

Added a desktop navigation rail, wider layouts, four-column quick actions, and a two-column sign-in experience without changing the compact phone layout.

Coming soon & live downloads

The media queue now reflects qBittorrent itself instead of relying only on automation estimates.

  • Fixed

Rebuilt Coming soon around qBittorrent WebAPI telemetry so active, queued, stalled, paused, and error states match the current download client.

  • New

Added aggregate download speed, total active transfers, remaining bytes, the next useful ETA, and a queue-state breakdown.

  • New

Made every transfer expandable to show its speed, ETA, remaining and total size, added time, source, and exact progress.

  • New

Added View all controls for larger queues while keeping the dashboard concise by default.

  • Improved

Combines up to 30 qBittorrent transfers with Radarr and Sonarr processing or attention states, deduplicating overlapping work.

  • Improved

Shows a delayed-data notice after five minutes and clearly distinguishes an unavailable download client from an empty queue.

  • Security

Keeps torrent hashes, peers, trackers, paths, credentials, and release internals out of the family-facing telemetry projection.

Guided requests & help

Common family questions can now be answered without knowing which backend service to open.

  • New

Added a four-step request journey from search through availability, with the live media pipeline embedded on the Request tab.

  • New

Replaced the generic Help tab with symptom-based guidance for playback, slow requests, and new-device setup.

  • New

Added live service chips and a one-tap privacy-safe support summary that includes service and telemetry freshness, not personal media activity.

  • Improved

Expanded More with direct links to device setup, service history, the changelog, the family website, privacy, and support.

PlumIT family website

The public front door now gives new and returning family members a clearer path to the right place.

  • New

Added a three-step Start here guide covering account setup, first-device connection, and everyday use.

  • New

Added one-tap PlumHome installation guidance for iPhone and iPad, Android, and computers.

  • New

Added an accessible mobile menu with outside-click and Escape handling plus a keyboard-visible skip link.

  • Improved

Expanded privacy-safe live status to include PlumHome, timeout failed checks, refresh every minute, mark stale data, and refresh when the page becomes visible again.

  • Improved

Device setup tabs now support arrow, Home, and End keys, remember the last selected device, detect a useful default, and expose bookmarkable device hashes.

  • Improved

Support now links directly to guided PlumHome help and status history and tells users which useful details to include.

qBittorrent reliability

Active downloads were made more predictable while preserving every transfer and rollback path.

  • Fixed

Corrected the incoming peer port to 63518 and verified the protected listening path through the VPN network namespace.

  • Improved

Enabled queueing with one primary download and up to six active downloads so bandwidth and disk activity favor useful progress.

  • Improved

Enabled slow-transfer bypass so a stalled job does not unnecessarily block healthier queued work.

  • Protected

Preserved qBittorrent state and captured timestamped configuration backups before each live change.

PlumStream playback

Hardware transcoding received targeted compatibility and efficiency improvements.

  • Improved

Enabled supported NVIDIA hardware decoding and CUDA tone mapping for more efficient playback conversions.

  • Fixed

Added an H.264 compatibility path for affected Xbox playback instead of forcing a needlessly expensive conversion.

  • Improved

Enabled transcode throttling and completed-segment cleanup to reduce temporary storage and sustained GPU work.

  • Verified

Validated playback and retained rollback copies for every Jellyfin configuration adjustment.

Library insights & review

Two private tools add useful history and a safe path for future library housekeeping.

  • New

Deployed Streamystats privately and synchronized six users, two libraries, 1,035 media records, and 2,446 activity records with zero reported errors.

  • New

Deployed Maintainerr privately and connected it to the media stack for review-driven library organization.

  • Protected

Created a non-destructive Leaving Soon - Review collection whose action is Do nothing; no media is currently selected or deleted.

Application security & maintenance

A complete update review closed an urgent request-service vulnerability and brought every active application image current.

  • Security

Updated PlumRequests to Seerr 3.4.0, closing an avatar image-proxy path traversal vulnerability that could lead to remote code execution.

  • Improved

Updated Maintainerr to the July 27 build with safer collection membership handling, per-item retention postponement, and faster rule evaluation.

  • Improved

Refreshed both Cloudflare address updaters to 1.17.0 and confirmed every managed DNS record already points to the current public address.

  • Verified

Pulled and compared all 22 active container images; every container now matches its configured channel, every defined health check passes, and all public services return normally.

  • Protected

Captured consistent Seerr and Maintainerr data backups plus protected image, configuration, and DNS-updater rollback records before recreation.

  • Protected

Left the offline Pi-hole host untouched as planned while AdGuard Home and Unbound remain active and current.

Branding & installation

Previously prepared 1.2 assets are now present in the production PlumHome build.

  • Fixed

Restored the branded favicons, Apple touch icon, maskable 192- and 512-pixel app icons, and phone and tablet launch screens to the live site.

  • Improved

Updated PlumHome install metadata so browser tabs, saved shortcuts, and installed-app launch surfaces use the coordinated family identity.
