Account requests

New family members now have a clear, privacy-conscious way to ask for their own account.

  • New

Added a public Request an invitation path directly from PlumHome sign-in.

  • New

Added a short account-request form for name, email address, and an optional family connection note; it never asks for or creates a password.

  • Security

Added server-side validation, length limits, and a hidden bot trap while keeping every request subject to personal review.

  • New

Added an owner-only review queue with pending, approved, and denied states plus a direct handoff to invitation creation.

Private invitations & setup

Approved guests can create a personal PlumStream account and learn the complete family workflow in one guided journey.

  • New

Deployed a private PlumStream enrollment service at join.theplummers.org for individually issued, expiring invitation links.

  • New

Added a five-step welcome journey covering personal credentials, PlumStream, recommended apps, PlumRequests, and the PlumHome starting point.

  • Improved

Added device-specific client recommendations and the exact secure server address for televisions, streaming boxes, phones, tablets, and computers.

  • New

Explained the automated request pipeline in plain language, including what requested, processing, partially available, and available mean.

  • Protected

Kept approval and invitation creation manual, persisted enrollment data separately, and added a consistent online database-backup tool.

PlumStream home experience

The family cinema now feels more intentional from the first library row to keyboard and television navigation.

  • Improved

Renamed the server display to PlumStream and applied the coordinated plum-and-ink theme without replacing the running Jellyfin process.

  • Improved

Added calmer library surfaces, clearer card hierarchy, a coordinated wordmark, and explicit keyboard and controller focus states.

  • New

Added a modular home layout with six curated sections and enabled it consistently for every existing user.

  • New

Added coordinated primary artwork for Movies, Shows, Collections, and Sleep Sounds.

  • Verified

Validated database integrity, every enabled user, the web client cache update, library artwork, local and public health, and zero new Jellyfin errors.

Sleep Sounds

PlumStream can now play long, interruption-free background audio without relying on an outside service.

  • New

Added a dedicated Sleep Sounds music library with soft white noise, deep brown noise, and a gentle thunderstorm.

  • New

Created each track as a seamless ten-hour AAC recording suitable for bedtime or background listening.

  • Protected

Kept the library separate from Movies, Shows, and Collections and retained a reproducible, efficient audio-generation workflow.

Security & maintenance

Small guarded updates kept the request service current and made routine health review easier.

  • Improved

Updated PlumRequests from Seerr 3.4.0 to 3.4.1 with a stopped-state database and configuration backup plus a tagged rollback image.

  • Verified

Confirmed all five users, 157 requests, both PlumStream libraries, and the Sonarr and Radarr connections remained intact after the update.

  • New

Added a weekly read-only PLUM-ARR maintenance report covering capacity, container health, and configuration validity without pulling or recreating anything.

  • Protected

Kept automatic library deletion disabled and the Leaving Soon review collection non-destructive.
